
About Thomas P. Roberts
Thomas P. Roberts, J.D., LL.M. received his B.A. degree from Stanford University and his J.D. (law) and LL.M. (Masters in Tax Law) degrees from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
He began the practice of law as a tax attorney for the Internal Revenue Service in Washington, D.C. He then engaged in the private practice of law in St. Louis from 1975 until 1992. In 1992, he moved his law practice to Salt Lake City and Park City, Utah, where he currently practices. His law practice is concentrated in the areas of estate planning (including wills, trusts and probate), and business law (including corporations and limited liability companies).
After years of practicing law in Estate Planning, he authored the unique book: Living with your Living Trust: A Complete Guide to Funding and Managing your Living Trust. He frequently updates the book as the laws concerning Living Trusts shift.
Tom was married to Sheryl in 1974, the year he graduated from law school, and has remained happily married since that time. He and Sheryl have three children and ten grandchildren. He is currently the Grant Chairman and a member of the Saltaires Chorus and plays guitar with the oldies band, Dr. Decibel and the Sound Prescription.
